Catalog Searching

A catalog is predefined list of items or services for a supplier as set forth often from a contact.

The catalogs will contain much of the information you’d have to input on non-catalog requisitions (supplier, site, purchasing category, etc.).

Catalog can be searched in Oracle by:

  • Agreement number
  • Supplier Name
  • Description
  • Item/Part Number (If Any)

Select Purchase Requisitions from the home screen.

Ensure you are the business unit (BU) where you need to create a requisition. Select the pencil icon next to your name to adjust the BU. You can use the white box to search but this may or may not work.

Instead select Shop by Category, select Browse All Catalogs near the bottom of the category list.

Once you are in the Catalog section, use the white box to add supplier name, item number, agreement number

Example: typed in Car Seat, selected magnifying glass and below choices were found.

Example, entered supplier item number, selected the magnifying glass.

Below item was found:

Example, entered part of an item description, selected magnifying glass and below selections were found.
