How to Activate and Set Up Mobile Device

 

Replacement device for existing phone service:

 

First step:  Obtain the Apple ID, iCloud email and password(s).  Ensure your device has been backed up so data from old device transfers to new device. Note: voicemail messages may not transfer.

 

PHONE SET UP: IMPORTANT watch the attached video clip to correctly install company email.

Use your computer to navigate to the below AT&T URL and follow these instructions.

  • Activations process:
    • 1.         Go to www.ATT.com/activations
    • 2.         Choose Activate
    • 3.         Enter Phone number and ZIP code: 05402
    • 4.         Accept Terms and click Activate

 

Power on your new device and follow the prompts outlined in the activation video.

Add the Apple ID (iCloud email) and password.

Power off the old device.

Power on the new device.

 

 

New service and device:

 

    • Devices ship Active:  no additional activation steps needed via AT&T.

Power on the new device, follow the prompts outlined in the activation video.

Create an Apple ID, iCloud email and password. Make note of these details as they will be needed to upgrade to new phone or if phone is passed along to another user.

 

 If you encounter set up or activation issues create a ServiceNow request use link:  Service Portal - Service Portal (service-now.com) Select something is broken and to create a request for assistance.

  1. Turn on your device and press the Home button. Choose your language and your country.

 

 

  1. Tap on Use Cellular Connection or Connect to a local Wi-Fi connection you have access to.
  2. If you don’t have a backup or another device, select Set Up as New (iPhone/iPad).

 

 

  1. On the Remote Management screen select Next.
  2. Next, set a six-digits passcode to help protect your data. If you’d like a four-digits passcode, tap Passcode Options.

 

 

  1. Next, you’ll be asked to set up or enable services and features such as Siri, Location Services, Apple Pay, Information Sharing and iCloud Keychain. These are all personal preference.

 

 

  1. Tap Get Started to begin using your device.
  2. When you get to the home screen, it will take you through the Guided Setup.
  3. Enter in your Outlook Username and Password (For example: [email protected])

 

 

  1. Tap on Begin.
  2. Tap on Continue.
  3. Tap on Done to finish the installation process.

 

 

  1. Tap on the Outlook icon.
  2. Tap on Add Account.
