Requisition: Ready to Submit and Serial number (VIN)

 

North America requisitions should never use these two fields in the requisition header:

Ready to Submit

Serial Number (VIN)

Always leave these two fields blank, they are for use in EMEA and APAC regions only.

We have requested “for EMEA/ APAC use only” to be added to both sections but at this time we are alerting everyone to stop using these fields.

 

The process for North America requisitions: review requisition, confirm all details are updated and checked.

Option 1: Select SAVE and SUBMIT, this moves the REQ into the approval process.

Option 2: If you are not ready to SUBMIT, next to SAVE click the arrow: select SAVE and CLOSE, this leaves the REQ as incomplete.

When you are ready to submit for approval, click on the REQ #, from Actions, select edit, make any final edits, select SAVE and SUBMIT.

 

NOTE:  add VIN to requisition description to see from the Manage Requisitions view, you can add the VIN / auto details in the note to supplier section, this will show on the PO.
